The Technical Analyst IV acts as a liaison between the line of business and IT with a focus on end user experience such as user interfacing, user flow, data flow, and/or other UI/UX strategies. Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry-wide business process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures. Defines and performs analysis, design, programming, planning, implementation, and supporting of some of the most critical systems software and procedures with a focus on long term technology road map which required technical and systems knowledge. Manages plans, organizes, and controls projects which have an organizational impact as well as provides day-to-day support for complex applications systems. Essential duties:

1. Writes business requirements including data retention specs, report definition, and data security requirements for complex projects. Writes functional requirements including data access and retention specs, and report definition for complex projects.
2. Provides complex business process modeling. Provides project estimates for complex projects and enhancements. Reads and restarts job scheduling needs. Sets up complex jobs and dependencies.
3. Manages Requests for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
4. Designs and executes Disaster Recovery processes. Develops and maintains application documentation. Completes application configuration of complex control files. Installs desktop clients. Tracks and remediates metrics and trends of application performance.
5. Creates complex reports from database repositories. Performs complex queries. Performs complex production deployments.
6. Manages complex projects using bank's existing methodology, artifacts, funding, etc. Performs testing on complex projects and enhancements.
7. Prioritizes line of business and/or Executive Funding Committee (EFC) projects and enhancement requests. Creates business cases. Influences or sets the strategy and vision for the line of business. Participates in annual planning and estimating.
8. Contributes to the technology strategy. Contributes to and employs Information Technology Governance policies. Employs architecture methodologies. Employs SOA Governance policies. Defines and conducts research and leverages for development of multi-year technology roadmaps. Identifies technology gaps and presents recommendations for remediation. Acts as project consultant across team's project portfolio.
9. Develops and maintains critical vendor relationships. Aids in planning and forecasting of department budget.
10.Provides feedback to other analysts regarding projects or day to day support efforts, helping to define and align with goals.

Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience as an Information Technology Professional. This position also requires: 5 years of experience in Technical Analysis, Oracle Financials Cloud ERP and Oracle BI Publisher and; experience must also include tiered environments, SQL knowledge and RDBMS principles and tools.
