Description:

Scottrade, Inc. has a Financial Office Assistant position available in Ormond Beach, FL. The Financial Office Assistant works as a customer service representative within the branch to support customer with their brokerage needs. The goal is to satisfy customer need both on the phone and in person.

Responsibilities:

* Greet customers and answer phones
* Navigate through the activity, position, security master, and balance screens of the CRI system to obtain customer information
* Assist customers with account maintenance
* Create and file new accounts and all pertinent paperwork for accounts; Follow-up on any problems arising from customer paperwork
* Contact banks on credit checks for approval
* Provide administrative support to Branch Manager and broker as necessary
* Assist with training interns
* Open mail and process/distribute paperwork effectively
* Process required document reports

Experience:
* 1 to 2 years general office experience; previous experience in financial services preferred
* 1 to 2 years customer service experience

Education:
* Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
